Upazila Jubo League president expelled in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR: Fulbari Upazila unit Jubo League, a front organization of ruling Awami League, president Khaja Moin Uddin and a member, Mohiuddin Kader were expelled from the party on allegation of breaching the party code of conduct.

Incumbent vice-president Rajendra Prasad Sharma has been appointed as acting president of the upazila.

The decision was taken from an extended meeting of Jubo League at Upazila Awami League office Monday night.

Khaja Moin Uddin and Mohiuddin Kader were campaigning against the party selected candidate for the impending municipal polls.

Current Fulbari Municipal Jubo League committee was also abolished.

Fulbari Upazila Awami League president Haidar Ali Shah confirmed the matter to banglanews.
