DAHKA: Prime Minister’s Information and Communication Technology affairs adviser Sajeed Wazed Joy outraged to hearing remarks of Khaleda Zia and the BNP who are campaigning against our War of Liberation during this Victory month.
In his status on facebook, the popular social media, Joy urged everyone to go protest in front of Khaleda's house and show her and the BNP that the memories of our brothers and sisters slaughtered by her Paki masters and Jamaat henchmen cannot be wiped out by their propaganda.
Prime Minister’s son Sajeed Wazed Joy said, ‘I am outraged that during this Victory month Khaled Zia and the BNP are campaigning against our War of Liberation. Khaleda has taken the Pakistani line minimizing the slaughter of our innocent civilians by the brutal Pak Army and their murderous collaborators Jamaat-e-Islami.’
‘Today the BNP even called for an opinion poll on the number of deaths! Facts are facts. They cannot be determined by an opinion poll,’
‘3 million men, women and children were slaughtered in cold blood. Hindus were tortured and shot on sight. Entire villages were wiped out. Even when they had agreed to surrender, they rounded up our best intellectuals and slaughtered them all. These weren't casualties of war. This was genocide.’
The PM adviser alleged, ‘Khaleda is trying yet again to protect these murderers. She made them ministers of the very people they slaughtered. She has now just spit on the graves of our 3 million martyrs and spit in the face of our country.’
‘I have absolutely no respect left for this woman after this. I detest the fact that she was ever PM of our nation. She is a Pakistani agent. She has repeatedly met with ISI agents and taken money from ISI for elections.’
She should leave Bangladesh and go live in the Pakistan that she loves, Joy opined.
‘I urge everyone to go protest in front of Khaleda's house. Show her and the BNP that the memories of our brothers and sisters slaughtered by her Paki masters and Jamaat henchmen cannot be wiped out by their propaganda. Join me in demanding Khaleda go back to Pakistan.’
In a discussion programme held on December 21, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia said that there are controversies over how many were martyred in the Liberation War. There are also many books and documents on the controversies.
Following the remarks, ruling Awami League leaders, Sector Commanders Forum and others originations slammed Khaleda Zia and asked her to apologize to the nation for her derogatory remark on the number of martyrs in the country's Liberation War.
A Supreme Court lawyer sent a legal notice to Khaleda Zia, asking her to apologize to the nation for her comment. A case was also filed against her with Narail court.
