EC postpones Madhabdi municipality polls

DHAKA: The Election Commission (EC) on Wednesday postponed the polls in Madhabdi municipality of Narsingdi district on allegation of vote rigging, violence, spreading panic and blasting bombs.

EC deputy secretary Shamsul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews in the afternoon.

He further said the EC will fix the date for re-voting in the municipality.
