SATKHIRA: Police arrested seven people, including Satkhira district unit BNP general secretary Abdul Alim and district Krisak Dal president Abu Jahid Dablu in regular cases on Friday morning.

The duo was picked up from in front of Satkhira Press Club around 10:45am. They went to press club to attend view exchange of newly elected mayor Tajkin Ahmed with journalists.

Satkhira Sadar Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Emdadul Haque said the arrestees are accused in several regular cases.
