DHAKA: Opposition in the Parliament Jatiya Party (JP) has decided to arrange the party’s national council on April 16.

The decision was taken in a meeting of presidium members at JP chairman HM Ershad’s Banani political office in city on Sunday (January 31).

HM Ershad presided over the meeting here.

Ershad’s press secretary and party presidium member Sunil Shubha Roy confirmed the matter to banglanews in the afternoon.

Ruhul Amin Howlader, MA Sattar, Abul Kashem, A Mannan, Monirul Islam, Abu Hossain Babla and Foysal Chisti, among others, were present in the meeting, he added.
