CHITTAGONG: A group of miscreants shot a candidate of a Union Parishad (UP) chairman candidate to death in Galenga Union of Ruma upazial of Bandarban district on early Monday (March 21).
The deceased has been identified as Shanti Tripura.
Locals said that earlier the miscreants abducted Shanti Tripura and later killed him about 20-km away from Ruma sadar area.
Sharifur Rahman of Ruma Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
