GAZIPUR: Six members, including wife, daughter and two sons, met death raw convict war criminal and also Jamaat-e-Isalmi ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami at Kashimpur Jail in the district.

They met the Jamaat leader around 12:45pm on Thursday (April 7).

Kashimpur Jail Part-2 jail super Prashanta Kumar Banik told banglanews that a six member team including Nizami’s wife Shamsun Nahar, two sons Barrister Najib Momen and Dr Naimur Rahman and daughter Sadika Tahera, among others reached the jail this noon.

‘Later, they appealed for meeting the convict and got permission from the jail authorities.’

‘The talked to Nizami for half an hour,’ he added.

However, the death row convict has remained confined at the condemn cell of Kashimpur Jail.
