DHAKA: Ruling Awami League’s (AL) national council is set to be held on July 10 and 11 and a preparatory committee has also been formed to arrange the event successfully.

AL general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam made this disclosure at a press conference at AL president’s political office in city’s Dhanmondi area on Monday (April 11).

‘A preparatory committee has been formed with Prime Minster and also AL president Sheikh Hasina as its chair and party general secretary Syed Ashrafu Islam as its member secretary.’

Earlier, the AL national council was dated to be held on March 28. Later, it was shifted in July for ongoing Union Parishad elections across the country.
