TANGAIL: Police detained three BNP-Jamaat men including a municipal secretary, for quizzing on Sunday (MAY 1) over murder of Hindu tailor in Gopalpur. 

The arrestees are-- Gopalpur Municipal Jamaat Secretary Badshah, Alamnagar Dakhil Madrasa Principal Aminul Islam and BNP man Jhantu.

Wife of victim Nikhil Chandra Joardar filed a case against three unnamed person over the murder.

Tangail Additional Police Super (Gopalpur circle) Md. Aslam Khan said that the detainees were placed on remand.
