PABNA: Police have detained at least 63 persons on suspicion of creating violence in the district.

Police control room informed the media on Tuesday (May 10).

Sources said that police conducted a special drive in 11 Thanas and detained 63 persons.

Police also arrested several activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir, who were warranted in several sabotage cases, the sources added.

Pabna sadar thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abdul Al Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
