SATKHIRA: Police detained seven activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir during their secret meeting at Tiyanshi office of an MLM company in the district on Wednesday (May 11).

The detainees were identified as Hafizul Islam, Mofizul Islam, Abul Bashar, Abul Kalam, Hafizur, Khairul and Nazmul Hossain.

Satkhira Sadar thana officer-in-charge (OC) Emdadul Haque Sheikh told banglanews that on a tip-off police conducted a drive at Tiyanshi office and held them from that place during their secrete meeting.

Legal action will be taken against them, he added.
