DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Friday (May 13) declared two-day program in protest of filing spate of lawsuits against party’s chairperson Khaleda Zia.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir declared the programs in a press conference at party’s Nayapaltan central office in the morning.
He said they will hold protest rally across the country on Sunday (May 15) and in Dhaka city on Monday (May 16) as part of the program.
BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, vice chairmen Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yusuf and Selima Rahman, Air Vice Marshal (retd) Altaf Hossain Chowdhury and other committee members were present here.
