GAZIPUR: A court on Sunday (May 22) placed suspended Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) mayor professor MA Mannan on a day remand in a sabotage case.

Gazipur senior judicial magistrate court-2 judge N Shahidul Islam passed the order this afternoon in response to a 10-day remand plea.

Court inspector M Rabiul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews24 adding that suspended GCC mayor and also BNP chairperson’s advisor is accused in a violence case filed with Tongi Thana.
