DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) set up several programs to mark its 38th founding anniversary on Thursday (September 1).

BNP chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia along with central leaders will place wreath to the tomb of late President Ziaur Rahman around 10.00am followed by a prayer (Doa Mahfil) for his soul’s eternal peace.

A discussion is scheduled to be held at Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh auditorium around 2:00pm on the day where central leaders and prominent personalities will speak.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir urged all leader and activists across the country to make the programs successful.
