DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Brig. Gen. (retd) ASM Hannan Shah’s body will arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday (September 28).

A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the body is scheduled to reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in city around 5:00pm and will be kept at Combined Military Hospital morgue.

Quoting the leader’s family member, BNP chairperson’s press wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

The second janaza will be held at Mahakhali DOHS Jame Mosque around 10:00am Thursday (September 29) and 3rd janaza around 11:00am at Parliament South Plaza.

After offering 4th janaza at BNP central office in city’s Nayapaltan area, the body will again kept in the hospital.

The body of Hannan Shah will be buried at his family graveyard at Gazipur’s Kapasia upazila.

Earlier Tuesday (September 27), Hannan Shah breathed his last at Raffles Heart Centre in Singapore. He was 77 and suffered from cardiac problems for a long.
