NARAYANGANJ: BNP-backed mayoral runner in Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) election alleged that ruling Awami League-led 14-party-backed mayoral candidate Selina Hayat Ivy has breached the polls code of conduct.

He also submitted a formal complaint to the Election Commission (EC) against his competitor Ivy in this regard on Thursday (December 8).

Besides, Sakhawat submitted an application to EC demanding the deployment of Army during the NCC polls which is scheduled to be held on December 22.
