GAZIPUR: Deputy Leader of the parliament Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, also Awami League lawmaker categorically said if BNP assumes power in the next general election all the Rajakers and war criminals would be freed.

The senior leader of the party came up with the observation in an extended meeting of Gazipur district Awami League and marking the 67th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

She said, “We have to make the nation free from stigma by executing the verdicts against the war criminals in implementing the spirit of liberation war.”

She also said that if BNP wins in the next election they would free all the war criminals.

Later, she cut a cake to observe the 67th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

With the president of Gazipur district Awami League AKM Mojammel Haque MP in the chair, the function was also addressed, among others, by general secretary of Gazipur Awami League M Ajmat Ullah Khan, Advocate Rahmat Ali MP, state minister for children affairs Meher Afroz Chumki, Simin Hossain Rimi MP, administrator of Gazipur district Akhtaruzzaman organizing secretary of Awami League Ahamed Hossain.
