DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Thursday said opposition chairperson Khaleda Zia does not go to the court fearing punishment as she embezzled orphans’ money.

“Khaleda whitened black money. Her two sons siphoned off huge amount of money to abroad. She herself embezzled orphans’ money. So she does not go to court fearing punishment,” Hasina said.  

The premier also president of ruling Awami League made the comments at Gonobhaban in a meeting with grassroots level Awami League.

Hasina also criticized the then BNP led four party government at that time.
