Kaler Kantho, a widely-circulated Bengali national newspaper of the Bashundhara Group, is celebrating its 13th anniversary of publication on Tuesday (Jan 10). 

Banglanews24 Editor Jewel Mazhar greeted Kaler Kantho Editor-in-Chief Imdadul Haque Milan with bouquets on the daily’s office premises in Bashundhara Residential Area of the capital.

Besides, Banglanews Head of News Ahmed Jewel, Senior Output Editor (English) SM Salahuddin, Newsroom Coordinator Sharmina Islam, Country in-charge Shimul Sultana and Senior Correspondent Tanveer Ahmed, among others, were present.

Different socio-cultural organisations, artistes, trade bodies, educational institutions and professional bodies greet Kaler Kantho Editor-in-Chief Imdadul Haque Milan on the occasion of the daily’s founding anniversary.

Earlier on Monday night, Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir inaugurated the celebrations of Kaler Kantho’s 13th founding anniversary by cutting a cake at the conference room of the East West Media Group in the capital.

He wished the goodness of the newspaper on its auspicious day and thanked and congratulated all its journalists and employees.

Editor-in-Chief of Kaler Kantho Imdadul Haq Milan, its Editor Shahed Mohammad Ali, Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam, Daily Sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury and some officials of the East West Media Group attended the cake-cutting function.

On January 10, 2010, the Kaler Kantho, a media concern of the East West Media Group Ltd under the Bashundhara Group, launched its journey with a slogan ‘complete truth, not partial’.
