At least three people were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a cng-run auto rickshaw and a truck in Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar.

The accident took place at around 8 a.m. at Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf highway beside Ukhia Khunia palong area of the upazila.

According to locals, the auto-rickshaw was on the way to Cox's Bazar from Ukhia when it collided head-on with a Teknaf-bound truck at Khunia Palong area.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Ramu police station Anwarul Hossain confirmed the matter. 

He said of the deceased one was identified as Badiul Alam.
