Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina exchanged greetings with people from various professions at her official residence, Ganabhaban, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr this morning (April 22). 

Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League President, exchanged greetings at Ganabhaban in the capital after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid pandemic.

The premier exchanged greetings with council members, ministers, judges, political leaders, chiefs of the three military forces, diplomats, senior civil and military officials, and people from various other professions.

Apart from wishing all "Eid Mubarak," the prime minister highlighted the country's development, progress and prosperity in various sectors.

She said: "We hope to establish the country as a developing nation by 2026. My goal is to build the Sonar Bangla dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman."

She also expressed her commitment to eradicate poverty entirely from Bangladesh and said people voted for the Awami League repeatedly because the continuous development of Bangladesh was visible everywhere.
