CHITTAGONG: A youth was killed as blockade supporters blasted cocktails aiming him in Hasmoter Dokan area under Satkania Upazila of the district on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Shahed, 20, son of Badiul Alam.

Witnesses said that blockade supporter Jamaat-Shibir men hurled cocktails aiming the three wheeler carrying Shahed and his mother while they were returning home at around 8:30am, leaving them critically injured.

Later, they were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared Shahed dead.
