A mango trader was killed and at least four others were injured after a private car and microbus collided in Boroigram of Natore on Tuesday (June 4).

The incident happened on Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway of Manikpur area at 10 am. 

The deceased was identified as Abdul Karim, 40, hailed from Aminbazar.

The Injured are - Nazmul, 35, Boisakhi Khatun, 14, Mohabbat Ali, 65, and Soleman Ali.

Bonpara highway police station sub-inspector Habibur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

He said Karim was going to Dhaka from Rajshahi on a private car, on the way a microbus coming from opposite direction collided head on in Manikpur area. After that four including deceased was injured.

However, Karim died at a Upazila Health Complex, and the injured are receiving treatment, he said. 

Action in this regard will be taken, he added.
