One teenager was killed and another youth injured after they lost control over their motorcycle at the Mayor Hanif Flyover in the capital.

The deceased Roni, 18, was the younger son of Joz Mia from Sonargaon’s Narayanganj.

According to deceased’s cousin, Roni and injured Fahim Hossain, 25, including their friends planned to visit Mawa on early Friday. Later, while returning from Mawa, Roni was riding the bike and Fahim was sitting back. 

However, when they reached at Mayor Hanif Flyover’s Postogola point Roni tried to overtake a vehicle when the accident took place, said Roni’s cousin, adding Roni was declared dead when he was rushed to Dhaka Medical and Fahim is receiving treatment. 

Dhaka Medical police outpost in charge Bacchu Mia confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
