A police official of Ashulia Police Station has been temporarily suspended for allegedly refusing to register a case despite clear evidence of a serious knife attack on a man named Shawon.

The suspended official is the Officer-in-Charge (OC), Mohammad Sohrab Al Hossain.

The suspension order was issued through an official notification from the Bangladesh Police Headquarters on Wednesday (June 4).

According to the order, Mohammad Sohrab was suspended based on the nature of allegations against him. During the suspension period, he will remain attached to the Dhaka Range and will receive allowances and other benefits as per regulations.
