BD man killed in Singapore road crash

GOALANDA, RAJBARI: A Bangladeshi expatriate was killed in a road crash at Woodland Avenue Road in Singapore on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Nasir Uddin Sarder, son of Manik Sarder hailed from Bhagalpur village under Goalanda upazila of Rajbari district.

He worked at Prosper Environment and Engineering Private Limited in Singapore for five years.

Family sources said that, earlier on Saturday, a rashly driven lorry rammed into him while he was cycling in the area to reach his workplace around 6:00am, leaving him dead on the spot.

His body is likely to arrive at his village on Monday where he was scheduled to return home alive in June.
