DHAKA: The holy Shab-e-Meraj is going to observe on Monday night across the country with proper respect and religious fervor.

Following the religious program, a Waz Mahfil will be held after Maghrib prayer at Baitul Mukarram, the central mosque of the country.

Besides, different Islamic organizations have chalked out special prayers and milad mahfils in mosques and at other places to seek blessings of the Almighty Allah. 

Every year on 27th of Arabic month of Rajab the muslims observe Shab-e-Meraj, the night Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) embarked on a special journey to meet almighty Allah.

The Muslim devotees around the globe offered special prayers all the night in mosques and homes to seek blessings of Allah for welfare of the entire nation and the Muslim Ummah.

In the journey, the Prophet (PBUH) traveled on the “Buraq” to Heaven where Allah gave him instructions to take back to the faithful regarding the details of prayers.

Offering “Nafl” prayers, Muslims devotees observe this event and keep fast.
