Huge formalin seized in capital

DHAKA: A mobile court on Thursday seized some 40/50 drums of “illegal formalin” in a drive in Chankharpool area of the city on Thursday afternoon.

Dhaka South City Corporation Executive Magistrate M Atul Mondal led the drive in the area at 3:00pm.

Atul Mondal said, acting on a tip-off, they conducted the drive and stormed into a sealed factory and seized the formalin. 

The owner of the factory was not found, he added.
