DHAKA : A student of Open University was shot dead by unidentified
assailants at capital`s Khilgaon area Sunday, police said.

Sub-inspector of Khilgaon police station Mostafizur Rahman said some
10 to 12 unidentified youths sprayed bullet indiscriminately on Shetu
Reza at around 9.30pm while he was chatting with his friend Roni
Sarder in front of a shop of electronics items leaving both of them
wounded.

They were rushed to Dhaka Medical Hospital where doctors declared Shetu dead.

Shetu,20, son of Selim Reza, was a resident of South Goran near Adarsha School.
