DHAKA: As part of a major plan to reform the administration, the government on made transfers and postings of 13 bureaucrats, including secretaries.
The Ministry of Public Administration in this regard issued a gazette notification on Sunday afternoon.
As per the notification, the department of youth development Director General Humayun Khalid has been made the Anti-Corruption Commission secretary.
Among others, Public Administration additional secretary Jamir Uddin Ahmed has been made the Director General of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education.
Savar BPATC MDS additional secretary Shaheen Ahmed Chowdhury has been transferred as the Director General of the department of women affairs.
Former Director General of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education and also additional secretary Akhtar Hossain Bhuiyan has been transferred to the home ministry at the same post.
Home Ministry Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Nazimuddin Chowdhury was made secretary of the department of energy and mineral resources.
However, posts of eight more joint secretaries were made changes.
