No Ebola patient in Bangladesh

DHAKA: No Ebola affected patient was found in Bangladesh.

Shahjalal International Airport assistant health officer Zahirul Islam came up with the disclosure while talking to journalists at the airport on Saturday afternoon.

He said booths have been setup in the airport to check the existence of deadly Ebola virus and 123 suspected persons had been diagnosed but no one was found Ebola positive.

He also said there is no direct flight to Africa from Bangladesh and the passengers are coming through other airports checking.

All types of preparations are taken to prevent the Ebola epidemic; he added that the Hajj pilgrims are also passing out through the Ebola diagnosis process.
