10 villages flooded, minor missing

NOAKHALI: At least ten villages have been flooded and a minor went missing in Comaniganj Upazila of the district as an effect of Cyclone Hudhud on Sunday noon. 

Sources said that a minor named Moni, 6, daughter of Monir Ahmed, flashed away by the tidal surge in ward number nine of Charparbati union under the upazila. 

Sources said that water level of Kadamtala, Maulbhi Bazar, Meherun Nesa, Hazipara, Janata Bazar, Charhazari Union, Masuma Dona, Purbachar, Sattaria, Musapur, Diara Balua, Guchchagram and Charkachapia villages raised due to continuous rainfall and cyclone Hudhud.
