DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) decided to investigate into the allegations against its nine officials, including director general of the anti-graft body Kamrul Hossain Mollah, for obtaining fake freedom fighter certificates.

The other ACC officials are its directors Golam Yahiya and Abdul Aziz, deputy-directors SM Golam Moula Sididique and Abdus Samadm and former deputy-director Ranjan Kumar Mazumdar.

The other three are assistant inspector Abdus Sobhan, assistant sub-inspector Nurul Islam and Ishak Fakir.

ACC made the decision at a regular meeting on Wednesday following the recent allegation against these nine people for obtaining fake FF certificates.

ACC sources said a two-member probe body led-by its deputy director Zulfikar Ali would lead the investigation.
