DHAKA: Romanian women are seen marrying men from Bangladesh and some other countries in exchange of money.

They thus manage permissions for their men to travel to EU Member States without a visa. Romanian women usually take between EUR 300 and EUR 500 for the process.

The disclosure came out from a report, published at the Romanian Insider on Tuesday.

The report said a total of 37 such marriages were detected in the first ten months of this year, according to data from the General Inspectorate for Immigration (IGI) of their country.

However, according to the report, in most cases, the both party deal via social networks and negotiate the price.

After marrying Romanian women, the men go to EU countries for jobs.

The other countries rest of Bangladesh are Nigeria, Albania, Sudan, Pakistan and the Republic of Moldova.
