TANGAIL: A field worker of ICDDRB was killed in a road accident at Postkamuri Charpara in Bypass area of Mirzapur upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Martin Rozario, 35, was working of as field worker at Mirzapur Kumudini Hospital, hailed from Gazipur district.

Police sources said a rashly-driven truck crushed into his motorbike in the area around 10:30am while he was returning from Jarmuki union, leaving him dead on the spot and another one injured.

The injured—Sanjit--was rushed to Mirzapur Kumudini Hospital.

Gorai Highway Thana Sub-Inspector M Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
