KHULNA: Rail communications of Khulna with other parts of the country halted due to derailment of three bogies of a container train in Daulatpur area of the town Thursday Evening.

Daulatpur Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Khulna Railway Thana Constable Hamid told banglanews that three bogies of a Khulna-bound freight train, carrying rice, from Natore derailed in the area around 6:00pm.

However, a relief train has reached to the spot to rescue the derailed one. He added.
