DHAKA: The kulkhwani of noted painter Asma Kibria, also wife of slain finance minister Shah AMS Kibria, will be held in city on Friday (November 13) afternoon.

On this occasion, a Dua mahfil will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Asr prayers.

Her son Reza Kibria, also chief editor of ‘Weekly Mridubhasan’ has requested relatives, friends and well-wishers to attend the kulkhwani.

On November 9, she died of cardiac arrest at United Hospital in Dhaka and buried at Banani graveyard after funeral prayer at Gulshan Azad Mosque.

She introduced a peaceful programme named Shantir Shopokhkhe Nilima (Blue for Peace) to press demand of trial of Kibria killing that drew huge response from the countrymen.
