DHAKA: The Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal (BBIN) Friendship Motor Rally 2015 will kick off from November 14 (Saturday) from Bhubaneswar in India and end at Kolkata.
It would cover 4,500 km in 17 days in four countries by around 22 vehicles and 80 participants would achieve a new milestone in regional integration among four countries.
The Kalinga Motors Sports Club in association with the Union Ministry of Road Transport of India would organize the rally.
Government and non-government representatives, including a team of jounalists, from four neighboring counties will join this rally.
The “BBIN FRIENDSHIP MOTOR RALLY 2015” will wade through places of Historical and political importance of four countries. Seminars will be held at important city on the rally route.
Starting from Bhubaneswar it will pass through Ranchi, Patna, Siliguri, Gangtok, Phuentosholing, Timphu, Guwahati, Silchar, Agartala, Chittagong, Dhaka and Kolkata among other various other places.
On June 15 this year, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal (BBIN) have signed a regional motor vehicle agreement, paving the way of movement of both people and goods among the four SAARC member countries.
