DHAKA: France ambassador to Bangladesh Sophie Aubert expressed her deep sorrow over the attack that killed at least 128 people in Paris on Friday.

In a message, she said, “We are all in mourning after the carnage that occurred in Paris on the evening of November 13”.

The message further said, “France has been struck in its heart, but France is strong, and will not succumb to terror spread by obscurantist and barbaric enemies of our civilization”.

Sophie Aubert also thanked Bangladesh and all other friends of France who expressed their solidarity in these days of sorrow.
