2 killed in Mymensing road accidents

MYMENSINGH: Two people were killed in separate accidents in Phulbaria and Bhaluka upazilas in Mymensing district on Saturday.

Phulbaria Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Rifat Khan told banglanews that a bricks-laden truck turned turtle leaving its helper Khairul Hasan (16) dead on the spot this morning.

On the other hand, Bhaluka Model Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mamunur Rashid said that a rashly driven truck rammed into a readymade garment (RMG) worker Ambia Begum (35) as she was trying to cross the road in Hazir Bazar area of the upazila.

Bodies of the victims were sent to Phulbaria and Bhaluka upazila hospital morgues for autopsy.
