Bangladesh embassy opens Paris hotline

DHAKA: Bangladesh foreign ministry on Saturday has opened a hotline in Paris to receive calls regarding Friday attacks in Paris that clamed at least 150 dead over 200 injured.

The number is +33146519033.

Furthermore, the numbers +33651360222 (T M Reza) and +33614497095 (Wahid Var Taher) can be contacted for information, a foreign ministry release said.

Earlier in the day, the ministry said that no Bangladeshi has reportedly been victim in Friday Paris terror attack.

Foreign ministry external publicity wing director general Mohammad Badiruzzaman said that they did not get any information about any Bangladeshi victim following the attack.

Moreover, officials in Bangladesh mission in Paris are also monitoring the incident, he added.

However, a deadly terror attack on Friday in Paris left at least 153 people dead and over 200 injured.
