DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina commented that the nation is being freed from the curse of war criminals.

‘As soon as we are arranging the trial of war criminals, we are bring freed of curse,’ she opined.

‘Blood of the martyrs can not go in vain,’ she added.

The PM made this assertion at a discussion on Victory Day, organized by ruling Awami League at Krishibid Institute auditorium in city on Thursday (December 17).

‘We will uphold the national flag atop. We will safeguard its spirit by sacrificing our blood,’ the premier vowed.

Pointing to BNP chairperson, the PM said that Khaleda Zia has given shelter to the war criminals that was started by her husband Ziaur Rahman.

She further said, ‘We had liberated the country and it is our duty to make the nation developed’.

Sheikh Hasina also expressed her gratitude to the nations, which paid their supports to the Bangladesh war of independence.
