DINAJPUR: Jamatul Mujahidin Bangladesh (JMB) leader Shariful Islam gave confessional statement over attempt to kill an Italian priest in Dinajpur.
He made the confession before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Thursday evening.
Court police confirmed the matter on Friday.
Shariful was arrested in a case filed for attack on Iskon temple in the same district. Later in interrogation, he confessed about his involvement in attempt to murder the priest.
