DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Wednesday placed 2-day remand to Mufti Jasim Uddin Rahmani, the terrorist’s group leader Ansarulla Bangla Team, in Blogger Rajib Haider killing case.

Metropolitan Magistrate Keshob Roy passed the order in response to a 10-day remand plea.
Barrister Munif and Advocate Farid moved for the accused.

On September 2, after completing a 7-day remand in Blogger Razib murder case the detainee gave a confession statement.

On January 14, miscreants attacked blogger Asif at Uttara in the city. Luckily Asif survived from the attack but received serious injury.

Later on August 12, Detective Police held 31 people including Ansarulla Bangla Team leader Mufti Jasim Uddin Rahmani from Barguna district.
