MP Rony gets bail

DHAKA: The High Court granted bail to Awami League Lawmaker Gulam Maula Rony in a case filed for assaulting two journalists of a TV channel.

HC vacation bench comprising Justice Nizamul Haq Nasim and Justice Kashifa Hossain passed the order Tuesday.

Rony also pleaded for bail in two more cases.

On July 24, Rony was arrested for assaulting two journalists of a private TV Channel.
