JnU registrar gives deposition

DHAKA: The Speedy Trial Tribunal on Tuesday recorded deposition of two more people in a case of killing tailor Biswajit Das.

Jagannath University Registrar Rezaul Karim and Advocate Syed Shahin Ara Laili gave their deposition before Dhaka-4 Speedy Trial Tribunal on Tuesday.

Speedy Trial Tribunal Judge ABM Nizamul Haque fixed September 12 for next deposition.

The tribunal took 28 people’s deposition till far from 60 witnesses in the case.

On December 9 in 2012, Biswajit, 24, proprietor of a tailor in Old Dhaka’s Shakharibazar, was stabbed and beaten to death during 18-party alliance’s road blockade programme.
