MONGLA, BAGERHAT: The low over North Bay and its adjacent areas moved vaguely north-west area and now lies over North-West Bay off West Bengal-Bangladesh coast.

Under its influence, a deep convection is taking place over the North Bay.

A Met Office bulletin said stormy weather may affect the North Bay and its adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Meteorological Department asked the maritime port of Mongla to hoist local cautionary signal No three.

All the fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
