The Kaler Kantho, a popular Bengali daily of the country, steps into its 12th year of publication.

Being one of the dailies and media entities of East West Media Group Limited (EWMGL), the Kaler Kantho started its journey on January 10, 2010 with the slogan ‘Complete truth, not partial’.

EWMGL is a sister concern of Bashundhara Group, one of the largest industrial conglomerates in the country.
Unlike the previous years, the daily has chalked out limited programmes to celebrate the 11th anniversary of founding.

To inaugurate the celebration, Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir cut a cake at his residence at Bashundhara Residential Area in Baridhara of the capital on Saturday.

Imdadul Haq Milan, Editor of Kaler Kantho and Director of EWMGL, Mohammad Golam, Chief Coordinator of Bashundhara Group Managing Director, and senior journalists of the daily were present on the occasion.
