Awami League will hold a peace rally on the day of BNP's April 8 sit-in program, said party general secretary Obaidul Quader.

Obaidul Quader, also road transport and bridges minister said, "If they block the roads, make people suffer, instigate and terrorize by failing in the movement, we will hold a peaceful peace rally in those 300 places for the safety of people's lives and property."

He said this at the Iftar distribution ceremony of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League at Azimpur Colony ground in the capital on Thursday (April 6) afternoon.

The Awami League General Secretary wanted to know who the neutral person that BNP talks about is.
