Awami League (AL) MP and Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said there is no alternative to dialogue, as most of the issues can be solved with mutual discussions.

He made the remark while replying to a query from the reporters after attending an event organised by the fire service and civil defense in the capital on Wednesday (June 7).

The minister said AL is a popular political party and it believes in people's power. To ensure and continue people's power there is no alternative to dialogue, he added.

When asked about meetings of some ambassadors with the political parties, Asaduzzaman said this is the foreign ministry's job, they are monitoring the matter.
